Aluminum window frames may not be the way of cleaning you often think of. Over time, these frames will become dirty and dirty, which requires good cleaning to alleviate. This is a hassle when the weather is good, especially if you plan to clean the outer frame.
Out Window Frame
When cleaning the outdoor window aluminium frame, first immerse the frame in water. Using a garden hose is a good choice, but if you can’t use a garden hose, you can also use a bucket of water to remove the outer dirt on windows and frames. For grease spots on the frame, you can purchase a solvent-based cleaner, and then follow the instructions on the bottle, let it stand for a while, and then remove it.
After completing these steps and rinsing, you need to make a paste of lemon juice and baking soda. The two components combine to remove dirt and leave a brilliance on the aluminum frame. Mix about half a cup of lemon juice with a quarter cup of baking soda and scrub the entire frame with this mixture.
After wiping the paste with a cloth or sponge, there is no need to rinse. Leave the paste on the frame until it is completely dry. You can use a toothbrush or other tools in a narrow space that is difficult to reach. After drying, use a damp cloth or sponge to remove the paste. You can then rinse it off to remove any traces of the substances used. Rinse the frame until clean water flows out, because the residue may make your windows look messy.
Inner Window Frame
When cleaning the inside of the aluminum frame, wipe with a damp cloth. This will loosen some debris and make the entire cleaning process more effective. Like using an external frame, use a toothbrush to access hard-to-reach areas. You can use the same cleaners as those used externally. Solvent-based cleaners and a mixture of baking soda and lemon are ideal for indoor use. Finally, you can rinse the frames with a sponge and then dry them with a dry cloth. These frames cannot be dried separately like outside, so you must actively participate in the drying process.
This is the best way to clean window aluminium frames. If you want a greater gloss, you can also consider using a polish after you complete all other steps.
